SUNBURY – A Coal Township man has plead guilty to drug and burglary charges. 35-year-old Eric Weikel entered guilty pleas in several cases Monday, just moments before jury selection was set to begin. Northumberland County District Attorney Ann Targonski says Weikel is charged with a felony of possession with intent to deliver heroin, four felonies of burglary, and two misdemeanor charges of possession of drug paraphernalia. His plea calls for a sentence of four to eight years in a state correctional institution. Weikel allegedly sold heroin to a confidential informant in the fall of 2013.
